Our Story
We Wanted Mornings to Be Easy and Delicious
Cuppa Spice was born from a simple desire: to make morning coffee more delicious, without adding to the chaos of the day.
When I (Whitney) first started brewing at home, my favorite ritual was adding warm spices - cinnamon, cardamom, a pinch of something special - directly to the grounds. The result was rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. But it was a treat reserved for slow mornings. On busy days, the measuring and the mess just weren't worth it.
So I started wondering: what if those spices came in a ready-made packet - something you could tear open and pour straight into the grounds? No measuring, no extra cleanup - just beautiful flavor, with no added sugar.
I started experimenting, and Cuppa Spice was born.
My husband Chris and I are busy parents, business owners, and healthcare workers. We know firsthand how precious those morning minutes are. As a type 1 diabetic, I also know how important it is to find something truly enjoyable that doesn't rely on sugar to taste good.
Cuppa Spice exists for all of us - to bring a small moment of warmth and intention to even the most hectic mornings. No compromises, just great coffee.
